Heriberto Moreno, age 69, of Bridgeport has passed away into the eternal rest of our Precious Lord on May 15, 2020 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Heriberto was born in Puerto Rico, but had moved to the Bridgeport area many years ago at an early age of five. Heriberto was a joyful man, one that enjoyed spending time with his family and whose focus in life meant loving his wife and family to whatever extent it took. He was very grateful for all God had granted him in life. In the most recent years he and his beloved wife Olga Iris Moreno of Bridgeport, took time to do a little traveling and enjoyed spending such times cruising together. He enjoyed attending Masses and being an active member of the St. Charles Roman Catholic Church; a church he invested energy and created many memories in, especially during the time where he and his wife were committed to being part of the reigniting the love, the joy, the commitment, the faithfulness and above all the relationships with God, brethren and the house of God itself within themselves and the entire community. He married his beloved wife over 27 years ago. He is the son of the late Anselmo Moreno and Ana C. Murfi of Bridgeport, CT. Besides his wife, Heriberto is survived by his children Rosemarie Moreno (Abel Galarza), Eddie Moreno (Aisha Moreno), and Lissette Nieves; his siblings Carmen L. Acosta, Miriam Agosto, Anselmo Moreno and Ramon Moreno; his 6 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will sorely miss him. Please be advised Services for Heriberto will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 4-7 P.M. Funeral services are scheduled to gather in the Funeral Home parking lot on Thursday, May 21, 2020 beginning at 10:00 A.M. with a Prompt departure to the St. Charles' Roman Catholic Church at Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, Easton, CT where he will be laid to rest. Anyone who would like to leave a message, a prayer, or maybe upload pictures, videos and so much more of Heriberto while he shared time with you and yours, all this can be done on his webpage located exclusively at www.luzdepaz.com; ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please be advised: At the Funeral home, any and all government regulations regarding any public attendance of events of such nature, a maximum person count of 4 family members, and 1 funeral home staff member (5 persons) during any visitation time is the maximum limited amount of persons in the facility (entire Building) at any given time. Absolutely no exceptions can, nor will be made and deviation from such government regulations is not an option, nor will be permitted at any time. We understand every situation is unique but if special circumstances and or accommodations are needed for anyone, it is recommended that persons contact the family for any guidance as to a possible. Also please note: AT THE CHURCH WE ARE CURRENTLY UNAWARE OF THE EXACT RULES SET FORTH REGARDING ATTENDANCE OF ANY PARTICULAR NUMBER AND/OR LEVELS THAT ANY PERSONS MUST ADHERE TO DUE TO ITS IMMEDIATE SUDDEN AVAILABILITY, BUT WE REQUEST THAT IF WE DO GO THERE WILL BE INSTRUCTIONS AS TO WHAT SUCH REGULATIONS ARE TO BE ADHERED TO DURING SUCH SERVICE TIME IN THE FACILITY. Finally, THE CEMETERY has regulations set forth and noted that a maximum of 10 family members, + one funeral home director + the clergy person doing the committal ceremony are the ONLY persons permitted graveside whom also are required to practice social distancing during such committal ceremony practicing appropriate social distancing. The spouse has granted a live broadcast session (information will be posted prior to service times)during the committal ceremony. Directions will be posted right here on the day of services. We appreciate everyone's cooperation and please remember your assistance and cooperation as to the adherence of the policies and regulations set forth is another way you have helped the peace of mind and atmosphere to remain in such manner consistent with that needed during such a trying time! our heart goes out to all. It is a requirement of the cemetery that if anyone appears to the cemetery in excess of the 10 family member permitted. ANY AND ALL Persons MUST remain in the vehicles and services cannot commence, continue or conclude until such persons remain inside their vehicles (additional announcements will be made if needed, we thank you in advance! -------------------------------------------------- *Please note: our goal is to get things done right the first time, but humans are prone to making a mistake here and there, therefore if you notice a misprint or typo, do not hesitate in reaching out to us and we will be sure to confirm with the next of kin for accuracy and implement any changes immediately after receiving such confirmation.
