Iris Figueroa

Iris Figueroa, age 64, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful and Glorious presence of the Lord on Saturday, October 14, 2017 in St. Vincent's Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family. Iris was born in Puerto Rico before relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the daughter of late Juan Figueroa and the late Rita Carrion. She is survived by her sons Carlos Vidro and Monserrate Vidro; her daughters Aixa Flores, Juana Figueroa, Gricette Figueroa, Keila Figueroa and Keisha Figueroa; her grandchildren Giovanni Vidro, Orlando Vargas, Jasmine Barada, Jaiden Santiago and Maylene Vidro; her great-grandchildren Greyson, and Victor Javier; her siblings Alma, Ivis, Sonia, Holvin, Eloy and Junior; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church,391 Ogden St, Bridgeport, CT, where she was a parishioner. The Entombment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Avenue, Stratford, CT.
