Jose was born in Bronx, NY, son of Abigail Rivera. He is the loving father of Elijah A. Rivera, Aaron M. Rivera, Isaiah Rivera, Shyming Rivera, and Nadine Rivera; the adoring grandfather of 3; and the caring brother of Tirsa Rivera, Carmelo Flores, Evelyn Flores, and Abigail Flores.
