Jose Sauri

Jose Antonio Sauri, age 48 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord suddenly on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. He was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico; son of Maria Rios and Jose Antonio Sauri prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the beloved spouse of Marilyn Sauri; the father of Veronica, Monica, Anthony, Jazmin, Adrian, Zoraida, and Keila Sauri; the grandfather of Damon Hines, Anastasia Alcaron, Aiden Alacron, Neji Rodriguez, and Maverick; and the brother of Jose Adorno, Lourdes Fonseca, and Angel Figueroa. Jose will be remembered as a very smart man, who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He especially loved cooking and fixing cars. He was able to learn and do anything he set his mind to. Friends and family are invited to attend Calling Hours on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608.
