Mario Sierra

Mario Sierra, age 70 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He is the beloved husband of Luz D. Sierra. He was born in Canovanas, Puerto Rico; son of the late Mario D Sierra and Gregoria Sierra . Mario loved being outdoors; participating in any activity he could do in nature. He loved fishing, riding his motorcycle and even just admiring the stars. Mario had a fantastic sense of humor- always considered the life of the party - and was respected and loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is the loving father of Lissette Sierra, Jazzmin Sierra, Jamaly Sierra, and Mario A. Sierra; the caring grandfather of many, who were the true light of his life; and the brother of George Sierra of Bridgeport, CT and Ana Iris Sierra of Indianapolis, IN. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. His funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Funeral Home. His interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
