Milagros Valentin

Milagros Valentin, age 82 of Bridgeport, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Northbridge Health Care Center. She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Herminia Ortiz and Angel Valentin. Milagros was always a hard working woman; who started working at a bakery and later as a sewing machine operator. Milagros enjoyed spending her time cooking, listening and singing to music. She had such a lovely demeanor, was always very friendly and had an amazing heart. Milagros was always dressed to the nines, and was the sweetest mother and grandmother. She is the loving mother of Carmen Martinez; the caring grandmother of Stephanie, Braidy, Gilbert, Victor, Arlene and Joel; the great grandmother of Destinee, Aracelis, Joel Faith, Mathaias, Samuel and Tatiana; the sister of 4 brothers and aunt of 23 nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Thursday on October 22, 2020 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Her interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, 850 Boston Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608.
