February 7, 2024 — February 7, 2024

Bridgeport, CT

We gather today to remember and celebrate the brief yet significant life of Alaya Novalee Rojas-Davis, a precious baby girl, who was born into heaven on February 7th, 2024 at 09:43 P.M. In her brief time with us, Alaya touched our hearts deeply and became an integral part of the family.

Alaya's entry into this world was eagerly awaited by her loving parents Arielle Rojas and Nathanael Davis. They had dreamed of embracing their beautiful daughter and showering her with love and affection. Alaya's arrival was also met with joy by a circle of adoring grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were excited to welcome her into their lives. Although Alaya never had the opportunity to take her first breath or experience the wonders of the world around her, her presence brought immeasurable joy and meaning to our lives. She taught us valuable lessons about the fragility of life and the power of love. Even in our grief, Alaya reminded us of the preciousness of each moment we have with our loved ones. Today, we come together in sorrow but also in gratitude for the gift that Alaya Novalee was to us all. Her light may have been brief, but it will forever illuminate our hearts with love and hope. We find solace in knowing that she is cradled in peace, free from any pain or suffering.

As we honor Alaya's memory, we hold a private ceremony for her beloved family. In this intimate gathering filled with love and support, we share our collective grief while remembering the boundless love that surrounded Alaya throughout her existence. While it is true that Alaya's time on this earth was fleeting, her impact will endure for eternity. She has left an indelible mark on our hearts that will never fade. Though we mourn the moments we never got to share with her, we also cherish the profound and everlasting love she brought into our lives. Alaya Novalee Rojas-Davis is survived by her devoted parents, Arielle Rojas and Nathanael Davis, who remain eternally grateful for the time they had with their precious daughter. She is also survived by her grandmother Lourdes Carrion, great-grandmother Lourdes Catalan, and her great-great-grandparents Jorge Marrero-Andino, Zenen Vega-Valentine, Sor Pina, Juan Catalan, and Maria De Los Angeles Figueroa-Valentine. Alaya will be forever missed by her grandmother Yoraima Vega, grandfather Rafael Davis, uncle  Damion Rojas, uncle Sean Rojas, and aunt Kayla Rojas.

In this time of deep sadness, let us draw strength from the love and support we find in one another. Alaya has woven a thread of love through our lives that will forever bind us together. May her spirit inspire us to cherish life's every precious moment and to hold onto the love she brought into our lives. Though Alaya Novalee Rojas-Davis may have left this world too soon, her legacy will live on in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace knowing that she was deeply loved and treasured during her time with us.
