Alexie Marcano

Alexie Marcano, age 47, of Bridgeport has entered into peaceful rest on November 10, 2022.  Alexie was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Carlos M. Marcano (currently of Carolina, Puerto Rico) and Angela Velez (of currently Bridgeport). He moved to the mainland United States at an early age.  He is the loving husband of Raquel A. Marcano.  He was a good guy with a golden heart. Many knew Alexie as a man who loved his family and friends and would extend a helping hand to all, even if they were not someone he knew. He was a die-hard New England Patriots fan.  Although many hearts today are broken, we can find some comfort in knowing that God only takes the best!

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his children, Alexi Marcano Jr. (AJ's mother Patricia Ocasio), Sophia, Nieves, and Amalia Nieves, Myrna Ortiz, Tatiyana Ortiz, John Ortiz, Juliyana Ortiz, Johnaya Ortiz, Jordyn Ortiz; his siblings, Mildred Cruz, Cindy Pabon, Mayra Marcano, Carlos Marcano, Alex Marcano, Joel Marcano, Emmanuel Marcano, Jean Carlo Marcano and Zuly Marcano; and so many other relatives and endless friends who will dearly miss him.  He was predeceased by his sister Nancy Cruz.

Friends are invited to attend calling on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

Funeral Services are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, beginning at 10:00 A.M. followed by Interment (Cemetery to be announced).
