Alphonso A. Francis

Alphonso A. Francis, age 22, of Bridgeport has passed into the peaceful rest of the Almighty God on Thursday, November 18, 2021, in his home while surrounded by his loved ones. Alphonso was born in St. Croix, USVI to Claude A. Francis and Tania Francis of Bridgeport but relocated to the United States mainland when he was about 7 years of age. Alphonso had attended Bridgeport Schools and was a graduate of Harding High School. Alphonso was a very talented artist and he loved to draw anime, but literally could draw anything that came his way. He enjoyed swimming at an early age, at the beach or in a pool, he enjoyed the atmosphere and peace that came along with it. As he grew into a vibrant, talented young man, he turned his energy into computing and developing his knowledge in artistry and technology. Throughout his life, he enjoyed partaking in a variety of culinary delights but enjoyed Guatemalan cuisine the most. Alphonso was taken from us so soon, but truly the Lord's purpose was fulfilled in his life. Until we meet again, may you rest in God's Glorious arms.

In addition to his parents he leaves his grandmother in St. Croix, USVI. his siblings, Keidy Perez, Diana Ventura Perez, Yahaira Peña, and Jonathan Brown, and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours (Viewing) on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 4-7 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608. Final disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
