Amy L. Rivera, age 56, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, entered eternal rest on May 24, 2026, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on September 19, 1969, in New York, New York, Amy was the beloved daughter of Antonio Rivera and Yolanda Asencio. Amy was a loving and giving woman whose joyful and energetic spirit touched everyone around her. She was a proud graduate of Bullard Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport and was known for her sense of style, vibrant personality, and natural talent for hairdressing. She had a deep love for music and dancing and cherished reminiscing about the Seaside Park days of the 1980s. She leaves behind her loving children, Juliane Rivera and Richard Rivera; her cherished grandchildren, Jeremiah and Sariyah; her brother, Jason Rivera; and a host of relatives and friends who will forever treasure her memory.  Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
