Andreas Alves-Brito, age. 26, of Bridgeport passed away tragically on Feb. 5, 2024 in Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury, CT.  Born on July 29, 1998, in Brazil, Andrea's journey was one filled with passion and dedication. From an early age, Andrea displayed a natural talent for nail artistry. She honed her skills and pursued her dreams, eventually becoming a highly respected Nail Technician. Her clients admired her meticulous attention to detail and the care she put into every manicure and pedicure. While Andrea's professional achievements were notable, it was her vibrant spirit that truly defined her character. Known for her infectious laughter and witty sense of humor, she created an atmosphere of joy wherever she went. Her friends and loved ones were always met with open arms and a listening ear. Family meant everything to Andrea. She adored her children, Laura and Riquelme, cherishing every moment spent with them. As a dedicated mother, she instilled in them the values of hard work, kindness, and perseverance. Andrea's generosity knew no bounds. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, going above and beyond to make a positive difference in the lives around her. Her selflessness served as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. On February 5, 2024, tragedy struck when Andrea passed away at Waterbury Hospital. The loss of such a remarkable individual has created an irreplaceable void in our lives. The legacy she leaves behind will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. Andrea touched many hearts throughout her journey, and her memory will live on in the stories we share and the love we continue to cultivate. May we find solace in the knowledge that she is at peace, forever watching over us. In honor of Andrea's memory, her family kindly requests donations to be made to a charity close to her heart. Laura Alves Brito, a bright and joyous soul, left this world on February 4, 2024. She was born on January 16, 2018, in Brazil. Though her time here was short-lived, Laura made an everlasting impact on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her radiant smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all. Laura was a brilliant 1st grader at Madison Elementary School in Bridgeport. Her passion for learning shone through in everything she did. She approached each day with enthusiasm and a thirst for knowledge that was truly inspiring. Laura's dedication to her studies was remarkable, and she consistently put forth her best effort in all endeavors. Despite her young age, Laura had already discovered a deep love for the arts. Singing was one of her greatest joys; her melodies would fill any room with warmth and happiness. Whether belting out tunes from her favorite Disney movies or humming along to the radio, Laura's voice touched the hearts of those around her. She had a natural talent that radiated pure joy and brought smiles to everyone who had the pleasure of hearing her sing. Alongside singing, Laura also found solace and expression through writing. Her words flowed effortlessly onto paper as she crafted beautiful stories filled with kindness and imagination. Laura's stories were a reflection of her compassionate nature; they instilled hope and uplifted those who read them. Her ability to create magical worlds through storytelling brought comfort to many. Beyond academics and the arts, Laura enjoyed playing with Barbie dolls and indulging in all things princess-related. Her love for these activities unlocked a world of imagination where dreams became reality. Through play, Laura demonstrated her creativity and brought happiness not only to herself but also to those who joined in her make-believe adventures. Laura's friendly disposition and warm presence made it easy for others to feel comfortable around her. She effortlessly spread kindness wherever she went, making everyone feel valued and loved. Her smile was contagious, brightening the gloomiest of days. Laura will be remembered not only as a talented student but also as a beacon of light, illuminating the lives of those around her. Laura leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will endure forever. Though her time with us was far too short, we can find solace in the memories we shared with her. May her gentle soul find eternal peace, and may her spirit continue to inspire us to live each day with kindness and joy. Laura Alves will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Riquelme Alves Brito, a beloved son of Ademar Avles and the late Andreas Alves-Brito, was tragically taken from us on February 4, 2024, in a devastating car accident. Born on October 15, 2020, in Brazil, Riquelme's bright and joyful presence touched the lives of all those who knew him. Today, as we gather to mourn his loss and honor his memory, let us celebrate the remarkable life he lived in such a short span of time.

From the moment he could walk and talk, Riquelme had an innate ability to bring happiness to those around him. His infectious laughter and playful spirit were simply contagious. He possessed a deep love for playing games and enjoyed nothing more than seeing the smiles on others' faces. Adventurous by nature, he was like a real-life Spiderman, bounding from one corner to another, leaving behind a trail of laughter and joy.

During his all too brief existence, Riquelme touched the hearts of countless people with his warmth and kindness. His effervescent personality radiated pure love, and he effortlessly brought people together with his magnetic charm. In this short time, Riquelme taught us valuable lessons about embracing life fully and cherishing every precious moment. Riquelme's passing leaves a void in our lives that can never be filled. While we mourn his loss deeply, let us also remember the immense impact he had on each one of us. May we find solace in the memories we shared, the laughter we exchanged, and the love he showered upon us. Riquelme is survived by his loving father, Ademar Avles. During this challenging time, let us come together to support Ademar and hold him close in our thoughts and prayers. Though words cannot begin to heal our sorrow, may we find comfort in knowing that Riquelme's spirit will forever remain with us, inspiring us to live life with the same exuberance and zest.
