Angel Luis Perez

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Angel Luis Perez, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was born on April 27, 1973, in Bridgeport, CT, he took his last breath on January 2, 2026, in Hartford, CT. Angel’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, humility, and a strong dedication to family.

A graduate of Central High School in Bridgeport, Angel had a successful career as a skilled machinist in the manufacturing industry, showcasing his unparalleled work ethic and commitment to excellence. His professionalism and talent earned him the respect of many colleagues throughout his career.

Angel was a man of many passions. He was a sports enthusiast who passionately cheered for the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys, and his excitement during the games was contagious. However, it was the time he cherished with his family that brought him the greatest joy. As a devoted and generous uncle, he took pride in being present for his many nieces and nephews, cheering them on in their endeavors and sharing in their joys and accomplishments.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Aida L. Rivera, and his father, Hector M. Perez, along with his devoted siblings: Hector Perez, Stephen Perez, Jesenia Craig, Marisela Rivera, Marvin Perez, and Chayanne Perez, and Juanita Perez Each of them holds treasured memories of Angel, reflecting on his humble spirit and loving nature.

Angel's legacy is one of warmth and kindness. He was a person who wore his heart on his sleeve, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. His family-oriented personality will forever be etched in the hearts of those who loved him especially his cherished nieces and nephews, Ashley Perez, Jeremy Perez, Yarelis Perez, Stephen Perez jr., Stephanie Perez, Ayden Perez, Chealse Smalls, David Craig, Carlos Devers, Bryanna Devers, along with his great nephews Jalen Nonnombre, Kayden Nonnombre, Karson Perez, and Zymere Smalls who were his pride and joy.

Viewing services will be held at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport, CT, on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Those who knew Angel are invited to come together to celebrate his life and honor the memories that will live on in each of their hearts.

Though he has left this world, Angel Luis Perez's spirit and love will remain with us, a gentle reminder of the beauty of family and the importance of cherishing every moment shared. His soul will find peace, leaving behind an everlasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
