Angel L. Reyes, age 90, of Bridgeport, CT entered eternal rest on May 5, 2026. Born on February 3, 1936, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Angel was a man whose life reflected devotion to his family, strong values, and an unwavering work ethic.

Angel worked for many years as a warehouse worker within the manufacturing industry, dedicating himself tirelessly to providing for those he loved. Beyond his years of hard work, Angel became well known throughout the community for his businesses and the warm hospitality he showed to everyone he met. His welcoming nature, friendly conversations, and generous spirit made others feel like family. He was known by family and friends as a hardworking man who always placed the needs of others before his own. Through perseverance and determination, he built a life centered on honesty, sacrifice, and care for his family. Angel also dedicated many years to raising funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association alongside Radio Cumbre, a cause that remained very dear to his heart. His willingness to give back reflected the compassion and generosity that defined his life.

Seeing his family grow into the productive men and women they became was the greatest reward his heart could feel. He found his greatest joy in the company of his family and treasured every moment spent together. Among the many things that brought him happiness was the outdoors, which he seemed to appreciate even more after his retirement. Those who knew Angel will remember his warm spirit, resilience, and the love he shared so freely. His wisdom, kindness, and steady presence will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Angel was predeceased by his beloved wife, the late Gloria Esther Orozco, his son, Angel Reyes Jr., grandson Angel Reyes III, as well as his parents, Eladio Reyes and Perfecta Ortiz.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving children: Wanda I. Hernandez, Edgar Reyes, and Luis Reyes; Ramon A. Hernandez, son-in-law; his beloved grandchildren Adriana Reyes (Ashley), Gloria L. Reyes, Joshua Gonzalez (Chansy), Skylynn Reyes, Aniyah Reyes, Landon Reyes, and Ivette Hernandez; his adored great-grandchildren; along with many relatives and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Services to honor Angel will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, beginning with a visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, May 16 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Finally, He will be laid to rest at Mt. Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Ave, Bridgeport, CT, with burial commencing at 11:30 AM.
