Anna Maria Perry, a vibrant soul cherished by many, was called peacefully unto The Lord in her residence in Bridgeport Ct, on May 24, 2025, at the age of 87.
Born on November 21, 1937 in Bridgeport Ct, Anna Marie fully embraced life with a spirit that was filled with enthusiasm, and a vivaciously funny and fierce personality marked by unwavering loyalty and loving determination.
Anna Marie truly was A modern day renaissance woman, adeptly juggling multiple careers as a scrub tech ER nurse at St. Vincent's Medical Center, a Mechanical Draftsperson for Bridgeport Machines, as well as a Realtor and Marketing Assistant. Her remarkable talent and devotion to all that she undertook reflected the fierce nature of her character, as well as her commitment to her family and her friends. Often seen as the life of the party, Anna Marie’s zest for life was palpable; she knew how to unite people and bring joy into every family and friend’s gathering, Always with A Warm and welcoming heart.
Her culinary skills were unmatched, particularly when it came to cooking homemade Italian food, a passion that was fueled by love and family tradition. She also relished trying her luck in the casinos of Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods, where she often shared much laughter and memorable moments with her family and friends who had the privilege of joining her.
The thrill of Cruising from the Caribbean island’s to Alaskan waters with loved one’s only added to her life's richness, Anna Marie’s enjoyment of Espresso martinis and Jack Daniels on the rocks became a delightfully known signature drink of her social personality amongst family and friends.
Anna Marie loved watching and excitedly routing for Her favorite football Team The Kansas City Chief’s. She Loved Her Patrick Mahomes. Anna Marie Also loved to watch her favorite T.V show’s, Judge Judy, Hot Bench, The Chicago Med, Fire, and PD Series’s, The Equalizer, and various Classic T.V shows and movie’s.
Anna Marie was always a devoted animal lover, Anna Marie found companionship in her beloved and whimsical kitty boy “Mojo” whom she was gifted as A rescue and absolutely adored, affectionately nicknaming him “Mema’s Mojo” or “Baby Boy”.
Anna Marie is survived by her loving children, Charles A. Bennett (Mary), Laura Ann Young (James), and Jacquelynn Alexis Perry, who have cherished memories of her endless devotion and loving spirit. She embraced her Inherited Son’s as her own, Jon Perry and Jordan Perry.
The legacy of her love continues with her Grandchildren Whom affectionately called Her “Mema” “Gramma”;
Adam Luis Cruz, Jonathan Gabriel Cruz, Laurissa Jasmine Luna, Joshua James Luna, and Aliyah Chantal Soto, along with Gabriella Marie Cruz. Further enriching her family tree are her Inherited Grandchildren, Alicia Rosa and Family, Alex Perry and Family, Jordan Perry Jr and Family, and Melissa Mae Perry and Family. Anna Marie Was A Great-Grandmother to, Trace Luis Cruz and Selene Angeliz Luna.
Anna Marie is now reunited with her lovingly devoted late husband of 47 years John Perry, her previous husband, Charles Bennett and special companion, Charles Valentino Sr.
Anna Marie also is now joined with her adored parents, Antonio and Josephine (Napolitano) Ferrazzano, along with her older brother Antonio Jr, as well as her inherited son, Jeffrey Perry. All whom had preceded her in death, leaving a void that she filled with love, light and cherished memories for them during the rest of her lifetime.
With her unwavering spirit and her Infamous saying of “It is what it is," Anna Marie taught all who knew her to face life's challenges with resilience and courage, faith, compassion, and love as well as with an amazing sense of humor.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM and again on Friday, June 6 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow immediately after at Gates of Heavan Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull, CT
Anna Maria Perry will be profoundly and deeply missed. Her undeniably beautiful spirit will remain living on in the hearts and souls of those she touched with a true loving embrace. She will forever be remembered by All who lovingly adored her whenever Heaven’s promised rainbow’s appear.
