Aracelia Castellano

Aracelia Castellano, age 76, of Bridgeport has passed into the peaceful rest of the almighty God on January 4, 2023 in Northbridge Healthcare Center, Bridgeport, CT.  She is the daughter of the late Eladio Montalvo and the late Anatasia Toro.  She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico but moved to the United States mainland many years ago and has resided here since. Aracelia loved the Lord with all her heart, mind, soul and spirit.  She faithfully served the Lord always striving to help out a fellow human being.  Regardless of who you were, you knew Aracelia would lend a hand. She was caring, outgoing, and simply loved giving to others. She was talented with arts and crafts, knitting and making beautiful home decor that will be cherished by many for years to come.  She was a dedicated employee at Prime for a number of years.  Her greatest works of art were in the kitchen creating delicious dishes that reached the souls of many.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children Jose "Eddie" Castellano Jr. and his spouse Jackie and Alex Castellano and his spouse Margaret; her siblings:  Minerva Perez, Pura Iris Rodriguez and Luz Maria Orta, twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her.  She is predeceased by her husband Jose "Lalo" Castellano Sr., and her son Richard Castellano and brothers Raymond and Miguel Montalvo.

Visitation of Aracelia has been scheduled for Saturday, January 14, 2023, beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

Final Disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
