Atany Hall

Atany Hall, 95, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on June 7, 2023, at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT.  She was born in Haiti and was raised by her brothers Father Joseph Abis and Christophe Abis, who was a jeweler, as her parents passed when she was a very young.  

Atany spent most of her life working as an educator shaping the minds of elementary students.  She enjoyed embroidery and shared her gift with her loved ones.  

Atany was happily married to Jean-Maurice Hall for almost 50 years until he took his last breath.  They are now finally reunited.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Augustine Cathedral Parish located at 399 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Immediately following she will be interred with her late husband's remains at Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT.
