Con gran pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Aurelio Escalante Avilés, un querido hijo, hermano y amigo, quien partió de este mundo demasiado pronto el 15 de julio de 2025, a la edad de 53 años en Bridgeport, Connecticut. Nacido el 4 de junio de 1972 en México, el camino de Aurelio por la vida estuvo marcado por la dedicación, la creatividad y una alegría contagiosa que tocó a todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

Aurelio forjó una carrera notable como trabajador de construcción, destacándose como un talentoso y dedicado dibujante técnico. Sus planos y bocetos detallados no solo demostraban su gran habilidad, sino también la pasión que sentía por su oficio. Abordaba cada proyecto con orgullo y esmero, dejando una huella imborrable en quienes trabajaron a su lado.

Aurelio Escalante Aviles, a beloved and talented construction worker, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, joy, and humor. Born on June 4, 1972, in Mexico, Aurelio dedicated his life to mastering the art of construction, becoming a skilled craftsman and a creative draftsman whose detailed blueprints showcased his artistic talents and attention to detail.

Aurelio was known not just for his impressive professional skills, but also for his infectious happiness and great sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around him. He had a remarkable ability to light up any room he entered, effortlessly bringing smiles to the faces of friends and family alike. His love for life was evident in all that he did.

Outside of work, Aurelio loved the outdoors. He enjoyed skiing, fishing, and kayaking, often spending quality time in nature with friends who shared his passion for adventure. He is survived by his cherished mother, Lucia Aviles Cortes, as well as his sisters, Lucia Castillo and Susana Escalante. He is also survived by his brothers, Hector Escalante, José Luis Escalante, and Antonio Escalante. Each of them holds a piece of Aurelio's heart, and they remember him fondly as a devoted family member who always cared deeply for those around him.

Aurelio was preceded in death by his father, Crisanto Escalante, who he held in high regard and whose guidance shaped the man he became.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on July 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. This gathering will be an opportunity to celebrate Aurelio's life, share stories, and honor his memory.

Though Aurelio has departed from this world, the mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him will remain forever. He was a shining example of happiness, talent, and love.
