Carlos M. Cruz Gonzalez

Carlos M. Cruz Gonzalez, a cherished automotive mechanic and beloved member of the Bridgeport community, passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2025, at the age of 45 in Stratford, Connecticut. Born on March 30, 1980, on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico in Caguas. Carlos brought joy and laughter to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

For over 18 years, Carlos called Bridgeport home, where he endeared himself to many with his vibrant personality. He was a very social individual, always happy, joyful, and ready to participate in any activities that brought people together. His warmth and infectious spirit will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.

Carlos was not just a remarkable mechanic, known for his expertise and dedication to his craft; he was also a passionate enthusiast of cars, often spending his free time working on projects that brought him immense satisfaction. His love for life extended beyond his profession—he found joy in music, often playing tunes in his Jeep and creating lively moments that echoed the happiness he carried in his heart. An adventurous soul, Carlos reveled in jet skiing, relishing the thrill of the waves and the exhilaration that came with it.

His legacy of love and kinship is carried on by his children: Bryan, Jose, Hector, Wilma, Carlos, Santalee, Camila, Carlos and Angel, each of whom held a special place in his heart. He is also survived by his siblings, Wemarys, Emmanuel, and Carlos, who shared countless memories and moments of joy throughout their lives.

Carlos was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Carlos M Cruz and Wilma Gonzalez, whose guidance and love shaped the wonderful person he became. Their memory continues to inspire and comfort those he left behind.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow immediately afterwards at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, 219 New Haven Avenue, Derby, CT.

As we remember Carlos, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering spirit. He was a man who embraced every moment, and his joyous presence will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he may have departed from this world too soon, his legacy lives on through the love he shared and the memories he created.

Carlos M. Cruz González, un querido mecánico automotriz y apreciado miembro de la comunidad de Bridgeport, falleció inesperadamente el 4 de junio de 2025, a la edad de 45 años, en Stratford, Connecticut. Nacido el 30 de marzo de 1980 en la hermosa isla de Puerto Rico, en Caguas,

 Carlos trajo alegría y risas a todos los que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo. Durante más de 18 años, Carlos hizo de Bridgeport su hogar, donde se ganó el cariño de muchos gracias a su personalidad vibrante. Era una persona muy sociable, siempre alegre, jovial y dispuesto a participar en cualquier actividad que reuniera a las personas. Su calidez y espíritu contagioso serán profundamente extrañados por su familia, amigos y todas las vidas que tocó.

Carlos no solo fue un mecánico excepcional, reconocido por su experiencia y dedicación a su oficio; también fue un apasionado entusiasta de los autos, dedicando su tiempo libre a proyectos que le brindaban gran satisfacción. Su amor por la vida iba más allá de su profesión: encontraba alegría en la música, frecuentemente tocando canciones en su Jeep y creando momentos llenos de vida que reflejaban la felicidad que llevaba en el corazón. De alma aventurera, Carlos disfrutaba del jetski, gozando de la emoción de las olas y la adrenalina que lo acompañaba.

Su legado de amor y unión perdura en sus hijos: Bryan, José, Héctor, Wilma, Carlos, Santalee, Camila, Carlos y Ángel, cada uno de los cuales ocupaba un lugar muy especial en su corazón. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Wemarys, Emmanuel y Carlos, con quienes compartió innumerables recuerdos y momentos de alegría a lo largo de sus vidas.

Carlos fue precedido en la muerte por sus queridos padres, Carlos M. Cruz y Wilma González, cuyo amor y guía formaron al maravilloso ser humano que llegó a ser. Su recuerdo continúa inspirando y brindando consuelo a quienes lo extrañan.

La visita con la familia se llevará a cabo el martes 10 de junio de 2025, de 11:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m., en la Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. El entierro se realizará inmediatamente después en el cementerio Mt. St. Peter, 219 New Haven Avenue, Derby, CT.

Al recordar a Carlos, celebramos una vida llena de amor, risas y un espíritu inquebrantable. Fue un hombre que vivió cada momento al máximo, y su alegre presencia resonará por siempre en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron. Aunque partió de este mundo demasiado pronto, su legado vive en el amor que compartió y en los recuerdos que creó.
