Gonzalez, quienes lo formaron en el alma amable y alegre que llegó a ser. Carlos fue un hermano querido por Maria E. Gonzalez, Daniela C. Rivera, y Jason Barrera Gonzalez, quienes lo llevarán siempre cerca de sus corazones. Born on February 8, 1997, in Ecuador, Carlos was a beacon of joy and authenticity, whose genuine spirit touched everyone he met. Carlos had an infectious love for life, which was evident in the way he embraced his passions. He found immense joy in the simple pleasures, such as playing soccer, going to the movies, and, above all, spending cherished moments with his family. Carlos had a remarkable ability to bring smiles wherever he went, and his presence was always a source of warmth and comfort. His love for Ecuadorian food was a testament to his deep connection with his roots, a connection he carried with pride. He is survived by his loving parents, Carlos E. Rivera and Maria I. Gonzalez, who nurtured him into the kind and joyful soul he became. Carlos was a beloved brother to Maria E. Gonzalez, Daniela C. Rivera, and Jason Barrera Gonzalez, all of whom will forever hold him close in their hearts. His legacy will also be carried on by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will sorely miss his presence and the light he brought into their lives. A viewing to honor Carlos' memory will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. His final journey will bring him back to his beloved hometown of Parroquia Guapan, Canton Azogues, Provincia del Cañar in Ecuador, where he will rest in peace. Carlos Eduardo Rivera Gonzalez will be remembered as a joyful spirit who brought love, laughter, and light to everyone around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
