Carlos Soler Bernier, 38, passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2026. Born on December 29, 1987, Carlos was a beloved son, brother, uncle, father, boyfriend, and friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and love to everyone around him.

Carlos was known for his kind heart, his strong spirit, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. He had a smile that could light up a room and a personality that made others feel seen, heard, and valued. He had a deep passion for cars and music—whether he was working on a vehicle, admiring them, or enjoying his favorite songs, those moments brought him peace and joy. His love for both was something many will always remember him for.

Above all, Carlos was a devoted father to his six children, who held a very special place in his heart and were his greatest pride.

Carlos will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His life, though far too short, was filled with meaningful moments, and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

He is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Gladys Soler; siblings, Angelica Sanchez and Carlos Sanchez.  He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Mari, and his precious children: La’Nyra Marie Soler, Jaelynn Mitchell Soler, Carlos Luis Soler Jr., Elijah Luis Soler, Jeremiah Anthony Soler, and Bellalise Marie Soler.

He is also survived by his grandmother, Mami Gladys; aunts, Gladys Hernandez and Aurelia Bernier; uncles, Willie and Alex Hernandez; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended relatives, all of whom will carry his memory forward with love and pride.

Carlos is reunited in eternal rest with his grandfather, Papi William, and brother Kyle Williams and other loved ones who passed before him.

A service to honor Carlos’s life will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate his life and share memories.

Burial will take place immediately following the viewing at Lakeview Cemetery in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
