Carmelito Rodriguez, age 43, the beloved son of Agustine Rodriguez and Milagros Baez has passed away into the peaceful yet Glorious rest of the Lord on April 16, 2019 in his residence. Carmelito was born in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the United States Mainland some time ago. He loved sports, specifically boxing and basketball which he loved playing with his friends and family. He was a barber for many years before most recently becoming licensed as a Commercial Truck Driver and began working in a field he began to enjoy greatly. For many years he went to the Hipodromo in Puerto Rico with his family where they enjoyed the atmosphere of the horseracing and betting on their favorite horse; He was focused on health for quite some time even considered becoming a private fitness instructor to help others attain goals; one of his biggest hobbies was spending quality, quiet time with family members and friends fishing; Truly a man who had focused his energies into reaching new goals, new purposes and has left us all too soon. Besides his parents he leaves to cherish his memory two sons Carmelo Rodriguez and Justin Rodriguez; his daughters Nancy A. Ocasio (Rodriguez), Carla Beatriz Rodriguez, Ashley M. Rodriguez, Joanni Rodriguez and Nashlin Camila Rodriguez; his siblings Miguel Rivera Baez, Joannie Rodriguez Baez, William Rodriguez Baez, Caleb Rodriguez Saribelle Rodriguez and Jafet Rodriguez; his grand-daughters Isabella Beatriz Baez and Julianna Beatriz Ocasio; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, April 28, 2019, from 3-6 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT Final Disposition will take place as a Burial in his hometown of Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.
