Carmelo Correa

Carmelo Correa Ramos, age 70, the beloved son of the late Carmelo Correa and the late Ana Rosa Ramos has passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on September 23, 2021, in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Carmelo was a simple, good man with a heart of gold. Many knew Carmelo for the years he worked as a realtor in the Bridgeport area and beyond. He was committed to his trade and always looked out for his fellow man. His experience allowed him to be such a vital part of those just entering their careers and Carmelo was one not to shy away from anyone who needed his guidance. He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served our country at a young age. Without a doubt, the greatest real estate a man can ever obtain, and that is with the promises from God above, and although his passing from this world, it allowed him to contemplate that which the Lord has prepared for him.

He is survived by his wife Karina Salcedo de Correa of Bridgeport, her children which he considered his own Eric and Alan Sanchez of Bridgeport; his Godson Mathew Arias. one brother Julio Correa of Florida; and a host of other relatives and many friends who will dearly miss him.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608. Final disposition will take place on Friday, October 8, 2021, (MEETING DIRECTLY AT Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT at 11:00 A.M.

In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made directly in person or by phone, through the funeral home directly. Please call before coming to the office to assure someone is there as our office hours are 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Also, a link will be posted where you can do so via his webpage from the comfort of your home on Monday, September 27, 2021.

At 6:30 P.M. there will be a zoom Meeting where there will be a sharing of scripture.
