Carmen M. Malines

September 23, 1967 — August 17, 2021

Carmen M. Malines (Villanueva), age 53, has passed away into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in her home. Carmen was a lifelong Bridgeport resident, daughter of the late Angelo Villanueva and Bernice O. Villanueva currently of Florida; Carmen was a joyful woman, full of life, full of energy and an unforgettable persona. When you arrived anywhere you always knew when Carmen was there, or if she arrived, you knew she arrived because she always had a presence about her. She always had the energy to be a vital part of everything she went to or involved herself in. She loved reading books and some may consider it her favorite pass time after the beach at Seaside Park where she spent countless days and whenever you didn't know where Carmen was, just taking a ride down to the Park and you were sure to find her there. She loved spending time with her grandchildren who she would do arts, crafts, painting, and Carmen basically never stopped being a child at heart which created some unforgettable memories which will last a lifetime for her children and grandchildren alike. Carmen had nothing of hers because she could not see anyone in need around her without giving unselfishly even if she had nothing to spare. Ultimately a heart of Gold with a joyful spirit which will never be forgotten although departing this earth at such an young age. We could never comprehend why such good souls depart so soon, but we definitely know there is a higher power who cares for us more than we could ever comprehend and today she can rest from the burdens of life in everlasting light Besides her mother, Carmen is survived by her boyfriend of many years Michael Tremaine. Her daughters, Samantha A. Villanueva, Tiffany M. Malines and Arianna M. Gomez; her grandchildren Sadira Plummer, Daelyn Heard, Mia Bahr, Royal Smith and one grand-daughter which will soon bless us with her presence. her great grandson Romeo Garvin; her sister Nadine Villanueva; one brother Nakia Swilling; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will sorely miss her. She was precedcd in death by her brother the late Dale Villanueva; Friends are invited to attend a brief viewing which will be held at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
