Celia Santos Falcon, born on July 27, 1945, in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, passed peacefully in her home on January 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Celia's life was characterized by her unwavering dedication and service, most notably as a devoted employee at Sikorsky Aircraft for many years. Her greatest achievement was being the matriarch of her beloved family.
Celia was a warm and kindhearted soul, who always welcomed those around her. Her love for Spanish music (Salsa) was incredible, along with her cooking, which filled the air with love. Her love for the METS was intense, regardless if they won or lost, she was always cheering them on. Celia's legacy extends through her beloved children: Jesus Falcon Jr., and his wife, Jeanette, Michael Falcon, and his wife Evelyn, Robert Falcon and his partner, Diana Heredia and Melissa Falcon and her partner, John Santiago. She cherished each of them deeply, and they were blessed to have her as their guiding light.
In addition to her children, Celia embraced her role as a grandmother with joy. She is survived by her grandchildren Samantha, Nicole, Timithy, Nyasia, A. J., Nate, and Amaya, each of whom brought her immense pride and happiness. Celia had a very special bond with her grandson, AJ, who played a very special role in caring for her. Celia is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Dominic Hunter and Darion Harris Jr., whom filled her heart with love.
She is now reunited in love with her late husband Jesus Falcon Sr.
Celia will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the warmth she exuded. She touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of compassion and dedication.
A Mass in her honor will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Bridgeport, CT, on January 30, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM, with services concluding at noon. As family and friends gather to celebrate her life, they will reflect on the many memories created and the love she so freely shared.
