Cristina Jorge

On June 13, 2021, Cristina Jorge Torres got her wings and went to walk with the angels. She was 93 years old. Cristina was born on December 15, 1927 in Comerio, Puerto Rico to the late Jose Juan Jorge and the late Nicomedes Torres. In her younger years, Cristina got married and relocated to Norwalk, CT. She later moved to Bridgeport, CT to raise her family and has lived there since. Cristina was a dedicated housewife and a wonderful wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family and friends. She was always the first to offer help to friends and family. Cristina loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. She was a very humorous women who will give you advice about life in general. She adored her sons and grandchildren and always wanted to make sure that they were safe, healthy and happy. Cristina is survived by her two sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; son Hector L. Ramirez, wife Madeline Nancy, and grandchildren Héctor Luis II and Joyce Christine, husband Remon and great-grandson Noah; son Juan A Colon, wife Maria Colon and grandchildren Joel, Heidi and Yesenia and great-grandchildren. Cristina is preceded in death by her daughter Elizebeth. Cristina never liked being the center of attention, and per her wishes a private interment-celebration of her life will be planned at a later date.
