David Aaron Quechotl Mones

April 12, 1997 — May 23, 2025

David Aaron Quechotl Mones, a gentle spirit whose life touched many, was born on April 12, 1997, in Mexico. He left this world far too soon on May 23, 2025, in Derby, Connecticut. His time with us, though brief, was characterized by a peaceful demeanor and a mild-mannered personality that drew people in and offered comfort to those around him.

David's career as a landscaper allowed him to connect deeply with nature, bringing beauty into the lives of others through his careful work and dedication. He approached his craft not just as a job, but as a way to express his appreciation for the environment and to share joy with those who saw his creations.

Outside of work, David embraced life with a joyful heart, often found pleasure in playing video games or soaking up the sun at the beach. His love for dressing nicely and always looking good was a reflection of his caring nature; it was as if he wanted to spread happiness and positivity through every aspect of his being.

David leaves behind a world forever changed by his presence, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all who loved him. Friends and family mourn a loss that came very unexpectedly and unfortunately, cherishing the memories that they hold dear. He leaves behind his beloved mother Romana Mones, and heartbroken siblings Asencion, Jean Carlos, Lizbeth, Antonio, Ramiro, Candelaria, Efrain and Eileen and a host of friends and relatives that will miss him dearly.

For those wishing to pay their respects, a viewing will be held at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport, CT, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Interment will take place in his native Mexico.  In this time of sorrow, let us remember David not only for his gentle spirit but also for the warmth and kindness he offered to everyone lucky enough to know him. His legacy of peace and love will continue to inspire all whose lives he touched.
