Digna E. Figueroa Ramos

Digna Ramos, age 89, returned to the Glorious Presence of the Lord on November 21, 2020 at Whitney Rehab Care Center in Hamden. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugenio Ramos. Digna was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Jose Figueroa and Felicita Avilez prior to relocating to the Connecticut area. During her time in Bridgeport, Digna was a very dedicated and active member of St. Mary's Church. She was a dedicated Cursillista, who would spend her time in prayer and thanksgiving to the Lord. She was a hard working woman who always put her family first. She loved making sure everyone was well-fed, and never wanted anyone to leave the house hungry. Digna is the loving mother of Irving Arocho, Eugene Ramos, Richard Ramos, Marilyn Borreli and Annette Ojeda; the caring grandmother of eight and the great-grandmother of four.
