Dolores Flores Bolling

Dolores (Flores) Bolling, 77, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord surrounded by the love of her family on February 26, 2026, after a long illness.  Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Dolores and Juanita Flores and had been a longtime resident of Bridgeport.

Dolores will be remembered for her quirky sense of humor and her loving ways.  Those who knew her well know of her warm and giving heart.  She enjoyed working on puzzles and exploring nature videos on her iPad.  She enjoyed her island music and spent her Sundays asking  "Alexa" to play her favorite songs and Bible verses.  Her warmth, laughter and devotion to her family will be deeply missed.

Dolores was predeceased by her beloved son Alex King (Danielle).  She leaves to cherish her memory her two granddaughters, Keisha Ramos and Zorimar Ramos (Carlos), and her great-grandson, Zayden.  She is also survived by her brothers, Pablo Flores (Mary), Angelo Flores and Ramon Flores (Sharlene); her sisters, Helen Barros and Elizabeth Osorio (David): her very special niece Helen DeBernardo: and Giovanni DelValle (Cristina), who was like a second son to her and always brought her joy and laughter.  

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Angels Homecare Agency in Stratford, for their loving care, support and services over the past 10 years.  We would also like to thank Constellation Homecare Services and Constellation Hospice Department for their compassionate support.  

At the request of the family funeral arrangements and burial will be kept private. We thank everyone who has called and sent condolences during this difficult time.
