Domitila Torres

Domitila Torres, age 80, has passed into the peaceful Glorious presence of the Lord, in her home on April 18, 2020. Domitila was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Emilio Rivera and the late Aurea Vega. She was a hard working woman who was employed in various jobs as she raised her children. She maintained a devoted relationship with God. Domitila leaves to cherish her memory and legacy her sons Martin Hernandez and Jose Urbina, along with her step sons whom she considered her own Luis A. Hernandez and Angel L. Hernandez, her daughters Marilyn Hernandez, Maribel Urbina, Luz Minerva Rosario, Luz Maria Hernandez Maria Urbina, Nilda Urbina, and her step daughters Maribel Hernandez and Marisabel Hernandez who like her stepsons became her children as she loved and considered them . She had a heart of Gold and a heart of sharing. A heart big enough for all 27 grandchildren who were the light of her eyes and her 35 great grandchildren. She was so blessed to have them all! The truth is this precious gem of a woman was grateful for the things God gave her every day, and always.
