Edelmira Irizarry Andujar

Edelmira Irizarry Andujar, 85, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on February 10, 2022, at Windham Hospital, Willimantic, CT.  She was born to the late Emeregildo Irizarry and Herbilda Andujar in Utuado, Puerto Rico. 

Edelmira was a very dedicated worker who spent a number of years in the manufacturing industry.  She was a friendly and joyful person who enjoyed dancing.  She was very respectful and could be strict especially when disciplining her many nephews and nieces.  She was a loving sister and aunt to many.

Edelmira leaves behind to cherish her memory her loyal siblings Doris, Delfa, Ana, Maximo, Alpirio, Estrella, Sergia, Orlando, Lizzy and a multitude of nephews and nieces who will all miss her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 9-11:45 AM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Burial will follow immediately after at Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, 1 Harvester Road, Easton, CT.

Proper mask usage is required by all while inside the funeral home.
