Efrain Reyes

Efrain Reyes, age 73, of Bridgeport has passed away into the peaceful rest of the almighty on March 31, 2022, in his home while surrounded by his loving family.  Efrain was born in Lares, Puerto Rico.  He is the son of the late Francisco Reyes and the late Genoveva Torres.  He is the loving husband of Carmen Reyes of Bridgeport whom he married over 46 years ago. 

In addition to his wife, Efrain is survived by his children Maria Gaitan, Nancy Reyes, and Efrain Reyes.  His siblings Ramona Carrillo, Delia Mendez, Iris Cruz, Rosa Reyes and Claudio Reyes.  his grandchildren Joe Diaz, Jr., Johnny Diaz, Balwin Gaitan, Jr., Alexandra Gaitan, Liam Hidalgo Reyes and Lianny Hidalgo Reyes.  and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.  

Friends may join the family for viewing time on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  

A Funeral service has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 6, 2022, beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by interment in the Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
