Eloiso Ortiz

Eloiso "Guito" Ortiz, 80, returned to the loving arms of the Lord after a brief yet courageous battle in his Bridgeport residence. He was born to the late Blasina Perez Ortiz in Comerio, Puerto Rico. He worked as a painter for many years and was meticulous in all he did. He enjoyed playing dominoes and could often be found in the midst of an intense competition with his neighbors. Eloiso leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted son Eloizo Vega Jr. (Luisa Carolina), his loving daughters Angelita, Eloiza and Maria Inez, his adoring grandchildren Elijah, Eric, Juan, Gabriel, Lisa, Mariah, Erika, Brandon, Alyssa, Falen, Justin, Jonathan, Danielle and Joey, and 7 great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Calling hours will take place on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 5-8 PM, and on Friday, August 27 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Burial will follow immediately after at Mt. Grove Easton, 1 Harvester Road, Easton, CT.
