Elsie Carrillo

Elsie Carrillo, 81, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on October 28, 2023, at Apple Rehabilitation Center in Shelton, CT.  She was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico to the late Jose A. Carrillo and the late Francisca Gauthier Garcia.

Elsie was a faithful servant of the Lord who shared the word of God at many local churches such as Buen Pastor, Casa de Oracion and Principe de Paz.  She graduated from the Bible Institute where she strengthened her knowledge in the teachings of the Lord.  Additionally she enjoyed cooking delicious meals as well as eating them, especially when it came to the Red Lobster Favorite Feast.  

As Elsie basks in the kingdom of God she leaves behind to honor her memory her loving children Elsie Mojica, Jose R. Mojica Jr., Sonia Mojica, Maribel Mojica, and her precious grandchildren, Rebecca Alicea, Xiomara Alicea, Jose Mojica, Manuel Mojica, Reuben Ortiz, Hector Torres Jr., Japhet Torres, and her dear siblings Evangelina Carrillo and Aracelis Rivera, and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
