Elvira Maraly Oliva Y Oliva, una mujer de profunda calidez y amor inquebrantable, falleció en paz el 5 de abril de 2026 en su residencia en Stratford. Nacida el 24 de enero de 1960 en Guatemala, Magaly vivió una vida marcada por la bondad, un espíritu protector y una dedicación constante a su familia.

Elvira Maraly Oliva Y Oliva, a woman of profound warmth and unwavering love, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at her residence in Stratford. Born on January 24, 1960, in Guatemala, Magaly lived a life marked by kindness, nurturing spirit, and an abiding dedication to her family.
Magaly was a very dear soul, known for her affectionate nature and loving heart. She brought joy and comfort to those around her, especially through her cherished hobbies—cooking, making others happy, and most deeply, spending time with her beloved family, particularly her eight grandchildren. Among her proudest accomplishments was her active and devoted care for all of her grandchildren, a role she embraced with boundless tenderness and joy.
Her journey on this earth was graced by close bonds with her children, Elida Montenegro Oliva and Huber Montenegro Oliva, who survive her, along with her treasured eight grandchildren. She was also the beloved sister of Amelia, Lydia, and Alex, who carry her memory forward. Magaly was preceded in death by her parents, Sotero Oliva Reyes and Luteria Oliva Beltran, as well as five siblings.
Magaly's life was a testament to love and nurturing, a beacon of comfort and happiness for all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her passing came as she returned to the loving arms of the Lord, surrounded by the warmth and affection of her family in the comfort of her home.
A viewing to honor and remember Magaly will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. The following day, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated directly at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 25 Sherman Street, Bridgeport, CT, starting at 9:00 AM. She will then be laid to rest with dignity at All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, CT, with the burial service beginning at 11:00 AM.
