With profound respect and heartfelt remembrance, we honor the life of Emma Carmen Gutierrez, who passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at the age of 89. Born on May 28, 1937, in the vibrant town of Yauco, Puerto Rico, Emma’s journey was marked by resilience, love, and a deep devotion to her family.

Emma was the cherished daughter of the late Perfecto Gaud and Josefa Gonzalez. From her earliest days in Yauco, she embraced the values of community, warmth, and dedication that would guide her throughout her life’s path.

Emma’s legacy lives on in her children, Ramonita Gutierrez and Roberto Gutierrez ( Michelle) , who survive her and will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She also leaves her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Together, this circle of family stands as a testament to Emma’s nurturing spirit and the strong, enduring connections she fostered.

In celebrating Emma Carmen Gutierrez’s life, we reflect on the indelible mark she has left on all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished, her wisdom remembered, and her grace forever appreciated.

Relatives and friends are warmly invited to pay their respects at a viewing on Monday, August 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Funeraria Luz De Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. Pastors Dannylo and Lydia Trinidad will perform the service.  A burial will follow at Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, 100 Harvester Rd, Easton, CT 06612, commencing at 1:30 p.m.

As we bid farewell to Emma Carmen Gutierrez, we honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Her life will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in her journey.

Con profundo respeto y un sincero recuerdo, honramos la vida de Emma Carmen Gutiérrez, quien partió en paz el 28 de julio de 2026 en Bridgeport, Connecticut, a la edad de 89 años. Nació el 28 de mayo de 1937 en el hermoso pueblo de Yauco, Puerto Rico. La vida de Emma estuvo marcada por la fortaleza, el amor y una profunda devoción hacia su familia.

Emma fue la amada hija de los fallecidos Perfecto Gaud y Josefa González. Desde sus primeros años en Yauco, abrazó los valores de la comunidad, la calidez humana y la dedicación, principios que guiaron su vida y dejaron una huella imborrable en quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Emma deja un legado de amor que perdurará en sus hijos, Ramonita Gutiérrez y Roberto Gutiérrez (Michelle), quienes la sobreviven y conservarán para siempre su recuerdo en sus corazones. También deja a sus nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos, quienes continúan el legado de una mujer que dedicó su vida al bienestar y la unión de su familia. Todos ellos representan el testimonio del espíritu generoso de Emma y de los fuertes e inquebrantables lazos familiares que supo cultivar.

Al celebrar la vida de Emma Carmen Gutiérrez, recordamos la huella imborrable que dejó en todos aquellos que tuvieron la dicha de conocerla. Su memoria será siempre atesorada, su sabiduría recordada y su gracia apreciada por generaciones.

Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a rendirle un último homenaje durante la velación que se llevará a cabo el lunes, 11 de agosto de 2026, de 10:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m., en Funeraria Luz De Paz, ubicada en 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. Los Pastores Dannylo y Lydia Trinidad daran el servicio.  Al concluir la ceremonia, el cortejo fúnebre partirá hacia el Cementerio Mt. Grove Easton, ubicado en 100 Harvester Rd., Easton, CT 06612, donde el sepelio dará inicio a la 1:30 p.m.

Al despedirnos de Emma Carmen Gutiérrez, honramos el hermoso legado que deja a su familia y a todos los que la conocieron. Su vida seguirá siendo una fuente de inspiración y su recuerdo permanecerá vivo para siempre en los corazones de quienes tuvieron el privilegio de compartir su camino.
