Ersol Carrasquillo, a beloved member of the Bridgeport community, passed away on July 24, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting legacy. Born on October 17, 1975, in Bridgeport, CT, Ersol was the son of Jose M. Carrasquillo and Gladys Carrasquillo. He brought immense joy to their lives and formed a deep bond with his beloved grandmother, Georgina Carrasquillo.

Ersol attended Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT, where he earned a high school diploma in general studies. Following his education, Ersol embarked on a fulfilling career working as a repairman in the healthcare industry. Throughout his professional journey, he exhibited dedication and commitment in all that he did.

Known for his love of baseball and sports in general, Ersol was an avid supporter of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. His passion for the game extended beyond watching it on television; he actively participated in friendly matches with friends and family whenever an opportunity arose. Ersol's enthusiasm for sports brought people together and created lasting memories.

On July 29, 2023, friends and family will gather to pay their respects during a viewing ceremony at Funeraria Luz De Paz located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. The viewing will begin at 11:00 AM and conclude at 2:00 PM. It is during this time that loved ones will share stories of their experiences with Ersol – remembering his infectious laughter and warm-hearted nature.

Remembered as a devoted father, Ersol leaves behind his children: Christan Reyes, Zohet Rivera, Janisia Evette Carrisquillo, and Joe'Anna Fuller. His love for them knew no bounds and he took great pride in guiding them through life's ups and downs. Ersol's legacy will live on through his grandchildren, Christan Reyes Jr, Carmelo Cartier Reyes, and Jalil King, who will forever cherish the memories they made together.

In addition to his children and grandchildren, Ersol is survived by his sister Evette Carrasquillo, nieces Gladys E. Padilla Carrasquillo and Paola N. Burgos Carrasquillo, as well as his nephew Ruben J. Burgos Carrasquillo. Their close-knit bond provided comfort and support throughout the years, reflecting the strength of their family ties.

Ersol Carrasquillo was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of all those fortunate enough to know him. His gentle spirit, kindness, and unwavering love were evident in every interaction he had. Ersol's passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends, but they find solace in the memories shared and the impact he made during his time with them.
