Felix Carrillo

Felix Carrillo, Jr., age 63, of Stratford has passed into the presence of the Lord suddenly on September 14, 2022, in Bridgeport Hospital.  Felix was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area at an early age.  He attended Bridgeport schools including Bassick High School.  He is the son of the late Felix Carrillo Sr. and the late Carmen D. DeJesus.  He is the beloved husband of Carmen L. Pizarro whom he met over 30 years ago and have been inseparable since.  Felix was a man who had one focus in life which was to love his wife and family with everything he had.  He enjoyed wonderful times on his boat fishing in the Long Island Sound sometimes for hours on end with his beloved.   He kept an immaculate home and its surroundings with a warm and inviting atmosphere.  This was the background for many memorable family moments that will be treasured.    He was a man of many talents, those which he shared with all around him.  Whether it be cooking, taking care of the pool, his boat, and more, it was always a blessing to be around Felix and without a doubt one irreplaceable component of the family.  

In addition to his wife Carmen, Felix is survived by his children Felix Carrillo, Omar Bahamonde, Janice Bahamonde, Edgar Alicea and Elizabeth Carrillo;  his 12 grandchildren, his siblings Elizabeth Camacho, Margie Carrillo, Darinel Carrillo, Reynaldo Rodriguez, Jose Carrillo, Miguel Rodriguez, Rafael Rodriguez and Edwin Rodriguez;  and many other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by a brother David Carrillo.  He will be sorely missed by all.  

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, September 24, 2022, 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  

Final Disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
