Francis W. Moore, born on June 11, 1957, in Bronx, New York, entered into eternal rest on September 8, 2025, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She was the beloved daughter of the late Gregorio Ayala and the late Ramona Ayala.
Francis was a true people person whose warmth and energy touched everyone she met. She had a lifelong love for all things Betty Boop and found joy in surrounding herself with the vibrant character that brought her so much delight. A devoted coffee drinker, she enjoyed lively games of dominoes, dancing, a competitive game of uno and playing pool. Some of her happiest moments were spent with her family and grandchildren, sharing laughter and stories. She also cherished her peaceful visits to Virginia Beach, a place that always held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her loving children: Nadya Darwish, Nahla Zhindon, James Moore, and Kathleen Moore. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her siblings, Jose Ayala and Lydia Ayala, along with many other relatives and friends whose lives she enriched with her kindness and joy.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a viewing on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. A procession will depart promptly at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 12, 2025, from the funeral home for the burial at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, where interment will take place at 1:00 PM.
Francis will be remembered for her laughter, her love of life, and the deep devotion she had to her family.
