Freddy Ortiz, Jr.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Freddy Ortiz Jr., 48, returned to the loving arms of the Lord in Tempe, Arizona.  He was born in Bridgeport, CT to Freddy Ortiz and Celia Vargas.

Freddy was a very kind soul who enjoyed helping others.  He enjoyed playing handball, reading and watching the History Channel.  He was a music aficionado who was passionate about his DJ skills.  He worked as a commercial truck driver.

Freddy leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents; his son Tyler Ortiz; his siblings Joe (Elizabeth), Eliezer and Joshua and his grandmother Aida Vargas, his aunts and uncles Charles, Eddie, Jimmy (Lourdes), Israel, Johhny (Sandy), Wanda and Mary and a host of friends and relatives that will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
