Gerardo Esposito, a humble and loving soul, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Born on April 30, 1949, in Naples, Italy, Gerardo was the beloved son of the late Pierino Esposito and the late Yolanda Coppola.

A dedicated chef by trade, Gerardo had an undeniable talent in the kitchen and was known for his exceptional cooking. Whether preparing a family meal or simply sharing his favorite recipes, he found joy in serving others. Outside the kitchen, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—fishing, playing solitaire, and spending quality time with those he loved most.

Gerardo was the cherished father of the late Maria Esposito and Yolanda Esposito. He leaves behind his treasured grandchildren: Ana Maria, Gerardo, Lucia, and Emily, with whom he shared an incredibly close and meaningful bond. He was also a loving brother to Onofrio, Domenico, Salvatore, Agatina, and Tonino.

He will be remembered for his calm presence, and his unwavering devotion to his family.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT, beginning at 10:00 AM. A prayer service will be held at approximately 12:30 PM. Following the service, interment will take place at Mt. Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.

Gerardo's legacy of kindness, humility, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
