German M. Rivera

German M. Rivera, age 78, of Bridgeport, passed away on January 14, 2024, in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. German was Born on December 6, 1945, in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, and at a young age German's journey led him to the United States where he built a life full of love and commitment to his family and friends.

In his early years in the United States, German worked in the agriculture industry in the New Jersey area. He dedicated himself to his work with diligence and determination. However, his last employment was at Harvey Hubbell Company. German's dedication and strong work ethic were evident throughout his life.

German had a zest for life which motivated him to be in a family or social gathering every chance he could.  Doing so he spent time with many creating the memories they share today. He is the husband of Carmen Rivera.  He had a passion for exercising and jogging at Seaside Park, finding solace and joy in the outdoors. Dancing to Spanish Salsa Music brought him immense happiness, and he never missed an opportunity to tap his feet to the vibrant rhythms. Although German was known for his outgoing nature and sociable personality. He effortlessly forged connections with people from many walks of life. He embraced every opportunity to spend time with his loved ones, creating lasting memories and deepening bonds that would withstand the test of time.

German leaves behind an extraordinary legacy through his children Carmen Torres, Nancy Natal (David), Gilbert Torres, German Rivera, Jr., and Iris Rivera (Alex Aponte). His unconditional love and guidance will forever resonate in their hearts. German was also blessed with 19 grandchildren and an incredible 44 great-grandchildren who will cherish the memories they shared with their grandfather.  His Siblings, Miguel Rodan, Miguel A. Rivera, and Marta Vazquez.  

German was predeceased by his parents, the late Miguel Roldan and the late Aida Rivera, and his siblings the late Heriberto Roldan, and the late Elba Iris Roldan Their bond as a family was unbreakable, offering strength and support to one another through life's joys and trials. 

As we bid farewell to German Rivera Morales, let us remember him for the good man he was. May his vibrant spirit continue to inspire us all to live life to the fullest and cherish every precious moment with our loved ones. In our hearts, German's memory will forever remain etched as a testament of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion.
