Gertrude Altidor

Gertrude Midi Altidor, 75, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on May 4, 2024, in her home surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born in Port au Prince, Haiti to the late Elizabeth Glichard and the late Cirius Altidor.  She was the beloved widow of the late Midlon Midi.

Gertrude worked long hours as a seamstress to provide for her family.  She was a faithful servant of the Lord who praised him constantly.  She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who selflessly put their needs before her own.  

Gertrude leaves behind to honor her memory her loving children Bernadita, Sulbana , Molena, Sadrack and Reynaldo, her dear siblings Andre, Franz, Walter and Wilbert as well as her precious grandchildren and countless other friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Free Methodist Tabernacle Glory Church, 312 Brooks Street, Bridgeport, CT, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.  Interment will follow immediately after at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
