Gilberto Morreira Cruz

Gilberto Moreira Cruz, 76, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on December 2, 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. He was born to the late Pedro Moreira Rios and Rosenda Cruz Correa in Esmeralda, Cuba. He moved to the United States many years ago and was a dedicated manufacturer for a number of years until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman. Gilberto was a very social person who enjoyed dressing to the nines every time he went out with his friends. Gilberto leaves to mourn his memory his beloved children in Cuba: Mirelis, Mireyda, Mireya and Manuel Moreira Cancela, his ex-wife Maria Cancela, his adoring sisters Elena and Alina Moreira Cruz, his loving nephews and nieces Ibia Cancela Moreira, Adrian Roque Cancela, Idielidi Moreira Cancela, Iria Moreira Cancela, Carlos Moreira Cancela, Yanet Moreira Rodriguez and Yuri Moreira Rodriguez, his faithful friends Jaime, Leo, Michael, Rosa, Angel and Robert and a host of other family and friends. Gilberto's final disposition will be private.
