Inez Martinez

Inez Martinez, 65, of Stratford, CT returned to the loving arms of the Lord in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born in the Bronx, NY to the late Sigfredo Martinez and Nereida Romero.  She moved to Connecticut when she was 12 years old.

Inez was a dedicated insurance agent for the Malloy agency in Stamford, CT.  She was very inquisitive, enjoyed shopping and was very particular about her make-up.  She was a seasoned traveler who enthusiastically took all the children. She was a cinema buff who enjoyed the thrill of a good action movie.  Her greatest pastime were the moments she spent with her family. 

Inez leaves behind to cherish her memories her beloved children Raquel Martinez and Robert Fresneda, her adoring grandchildren Jessica, Sara, Alissa, Miguel, Madison and Mason and her precious great-granddaughter Elena, and a host of friends and family that will miss her immensely.  

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Interment will follow immediately after at Mt. Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

Proper mask usage is required at all times while inside the funeral home.
