Nació el 22 de febrero de 1976 en Guatemala.Entró al descanso eterno el 19 de diciembre de 2025, en su hogar, rodeada del cariño de su familia.

Ingrid llegó a este mundo el 22 de febrero de 1976 en Guatemala, hija de don Higinio Pineda y doña María A. Montenegro. Más adelante emprendió su camino hacia los Estados Unidos, donde la vida le tenía preparado un hermoso capítulo: conocer al amor de su vida, Tomás Vázquez. Juntos formaron una unión que duró más de 20 años.

La extrañará profundamente su amado esposo Tomás. Fue madre orgullosa y amorosa de Melanie Vázquez y Christopher Vázquez, sus más grandes tesoros. La sobreviven también sus hermanos: Dora L. Quiñónes, Minor A. Pineda, Alma J. Pineda, Julio C. Pineda, Maribel Pineda y Eric Pineda.

Ingrid tenía una presencia que llenaba cualquier lugar. Su humor era rápido, inteligente, con ese brillo travieso en la mirada… especialmente cuando había un casino a cierta distancia. Podía entregarle toda una noche a una máquina tragamonedas, y si perdía, encontrar la manera de reírse igual.

Amaba la playa, la buena comida y todo lo relacionado con Disney. Nunca perdió su espíritu de niña; creía en la magia, sobre todo cuando venía acompañada de sus películas favoritas. También disfrutaba la naturaleza y las caminatas al aire libre. Uno de sus sueños más grandes era conocer Bora Bora… hoy encontramos consuelo al imaginarla contemplando una belleza aún mayor, una que aquí solo podía soñar.

La lloran con cariño sus sobrinos, sobrinas, familiares, amistades, y su comunidad parroquial.

Servicios Fúnebres El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 26 de diciembre de 2025, comenzando a las 10:30 a.m. en Funeraria Luz de Paz 426 E. Washington Avenue Bridgeport, CT 06608

La Misa de Cuerpo Presente se celebrará en la Iglesia Católica Santa María, Bridgeport, a la 1:00 p.m.

El entierro tendrá lugar en el Cementerio Mt. Grove, Bridgeport, CT, con llegada aproximada a las 2:15 p.m.

La risa de Ingrid, su generosidad y ese espíritu tan lleno de vida quedarán para siempre en la memoria de quienes tuvieron el privilegio de quererla. Y aunque ya no recorra los pasillos de los casinos ni las filas interminables de Disney aquí en la tierra, confiamos en que ha encontrado una playa perfecta, un bufé celestial, y quizás—solo quizás—una maquinita escondida que por fin paga siempre.

Que descanse en paz, sabiendo que su historia continúa en los corazones de quienes más la amaron.

Ingrid R. Vazquez

Born February 22, 1976 in Guatemala, Entered Eternal Rest December 19, 2025 in her home, while surrounded by her loving family.

Ingrid R. Vazquez came into this world on February 22, 1976, in Guatemala, born to Higenio Pineda and Maria A. Montenegro. She later journeyed to the United States, where her story took a beautiful turn—she met the love of her life, Tomas Vazquez. The two built a partnership spanning more than 20 years.

Ingrid will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Tomas. She is the proud and ever-loving mother of Melanie Vazquez and Christopher Vazquez, her greatest joys. She is also survived by her siblings: Dora L. Quiñones, Minor A. Pineda, Alma J. Pineda, Julio C. Pineda, Maribel Pineda, and Eric Pineda.

Her personality filled every room: quick with a witty comeback, sharp humor ready for deployment, and a mischievous twinkle in her eye—especially if a casino was within driving distance. Ingrid loved a great slot machine to consume an entire evening.

She adored the beach, good food, and anything Disney. Ingrid never lost her childlike wonder; she believed magic was real—especially if it came the endless Disney movies she enjoyed. Nature and hiking called to her attention, something she enjoyed experiencing. One dream that always shimmered in her heart was visiting Bora Bora. We take comfort imagining that now, she finally sees beauty beyond anything she ever hoped for.

Her nieces, nephews, extended relatives, treasured friends, and her church family. Ingrid will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Tomas

The viewing service will be held Friday, December 26, 2025, beginning at 10:30 AM at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgeport at 1:00 P.M.

Burial will take place at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT, with an approximate arrival of 2:15 PM.

Ingrid’s laughter, generosity, and spirited personality will echo in the memories of all who loved her. And while she may no longer grace the casino floors or Disney lines here on earth, we trust she’s already found a beach with perfect sand, a heavenly buffet, and just maybe, just maybe, an under the radar, slot machine that finally pays out every time.

May she rest peacefully, knowing her story continues in the hearts of those she loved most.
