Irma Luz Rivera, age 68 most recently of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on November 30, 2018 at Arden House. She was born in Santurce, PR; daughter of the late Timoteo Rivera and Juana Calderon. Irma was an extrememly gifted baker, who shared her talent with many to help celebrate weddings, birthdays and many other special ocasions in their lives. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Maria T. Santaella and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Socorro Luis Quinones. Friends and Family are invited to attend Calling Hours from 5 p.m. until the end of services on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Star of Jacob Christian Church, 506 Howard Ave., New Haven, CT 06516. Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. December, 5, 2018 at Star of Jacob Christian Church. Her interment will follow directly at Evergreen Cemetery, 769 Ella Grasso Blvd., New Haven, CT 06519.
