J. Llanes Espinosa

After a courageous battle, "Pinito" has returned to the loving arms of the Lord on February 18, 2023, at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT.  He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Jesus LLanes and Elia Espinosa.  He is the beloved husband of Cristy Forgas.

Pinito was a faithful servant of the Lord who dedicated his life to the evangelization of the Word of God.  Many knew him as "El Pastor Chiquitito" and looked forward to hearing him preach.  The spirit moved him to lift many souls in the community, he was passionate about this ministry.  Throughout his illness he maintained a positive outlook.  He was a prominent figure at Iglesia Restorando las Almas Maranatha in Bridgeport, his presence will be greatly missed.  In addition to his service to the Lord he was loving husband and father.

Pinito leaves behind to honor his memory his beautiful wife, Cristy Forgas; his precious children Kevin, Elias and Jacob LLanes; his dear siblings Wendy, Justin and Patricia Llanes, his extended family at Iglesia Restorando las Almas Maranatha and a host of friends and relatives that will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held on February 24, 2023, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and again on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 9:00 AM at  Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Interment will follow on Saturday immediately after at Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, 1 Harvester Road, Easton, CT.
