Her love for them was profound, constantly prioritizing their well-being and happiness above all else, even amidst her busy life.

A cherished daughter to Ivette Rivera and the late Jose Lugo, Jacqueline navigated her life with a heart full of compassion, often resonating through her many interests and hobbies. She was a passionate writer, whose dream was to pen her own book and see it published. Writing was not just a pastime for Jacqueline; it was a reflection of her thoughtful, introspective nature. She could often be found with a journal in hand, capturing her musings and stories that would forever remain a testament to her vibrant spirit.

Encouraged by her family-centered values, Jacqueline always made time for others, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to those in need. Her loving and generous personality made her an indispensable presence within her community and among her friends. Whether through warm conversations or an inviting smile, she knew how to make others feel special.

Jacqueline was also known for her competitive nature, especially when it came to card games, particularly spades. Game nights with family and friends were filled with laughter, friendly banter, and the joy of connection, showcasing her spirited character.

She is survived by her siblings, Marisol Lugo and Joshua Lugo, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her father, Jose Lugo, and her brother, Jose Lugo Jr., whose memories she will forever hold dear in her heart.

As the family and friends gather to celebrate her life, a viewing will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport, CT. Following the viewing, a burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery at 1:30 PM. In these moments, they will share stories and memories that reflect the love Jacqueline so effortlessly spread throughout her life.
