In Loving Memory of Jessica Soler

Jessica Soler, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, in New Haven, Connecticut. She was born on December 11, 1982, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to Carmen Milagros Velazquez and Luis Felipe Soler.

Jessica’s life reflected her love of learning, her curiosity, and her desire to grow as a person. She graduated from Bullard Havens Vocational Technical School in Bridgeport and attended Norwalk Community College. She was a dynamic consultant for Paparazzi Jewelry and enjoyed traveling, watching movies, adored game nights with her family and friends and spending time with the people she loved.

In the years before her passing, Jessica developed a deep love for the Bible. She devoted herself to learning more about Jehovah God and eagerly studied the Scriptures as part of a Bible study group. Her desire to understand God’s Word was genuine and heartfelt. She found comfort and meaning in its promises, particularly the Bible’s beautiful hope of the resurrection.

Jessica was a vibrant and compassionate person whose empathy seemed to know no boundaries. Her luminous vibrant smile and sincere nature touched the lives of many. She had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for, and those qualities will be fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Above all, Jessica will be remembered through the family she loved so deeply. She is survived by her children, Alyssa Joseph, Clint Joseph, and Genesis Harewood, who were at the heart of her life. She is also lovingly remembered by her mother and father, Carmen Velazquez and Luis Felipe Soler; her brothers, Luis Soler and Jonathan Soler; and her aunts, Aquítania Soler, Aida Alvarado, Awilda Lopez and Ana Lugo.

While Jessica’s family and friends deeply mourn her loss, they find comfort in the Bible’s promise that death is not the end. Jehovah assures us that those who have died are in his memory and that there will be a time when he calls them back to life. As Jesus said at John 5:28, 29, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”

That hope of resurrection is especially precious to those who loved Jessica. Until that time, her family and friends will cherish the memories of her kindness, her laughter, her compassion, and the love she gave so freely.
