It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jordan Lee Thompson, who left this world too soon on January 4 2026, in Bridgeport, CT. Born on August 6, 1994, in the same city that would be his lifelong home, Jordan was a gentle soul known for his low-key demeanor, love for family, and quiet strength.
Jordan had a way of bringing joy to those around him. His loving nature was especially evident in his role as a father and uncle, two titles he cherished dearly. Spending time with his children, Jordan Jr. and Jehla, and his niece and nephew brought him immense pride and satisfaction. He took great joy in playing games and hanging out with friends, moments that painted his life with laughter and camaraderie.
He is survived by his father Robert Thompson Sr and his devoted children, Jordan Thompson Jr. and Jehla Thompson, along with his siblings: Jeremy Mojica, Robert C. Thompson, Nico Thompson, Zion Thompson, Casslyn Thompson, and Starr Pastrana. Also God siblings Amanda Santiago and Joshua Santiago. Each of them carries a piece of Jordan’s love in their hearts, a testament to the strong bonds they shared.
Jordan's departure was a tragic and unexpected event that leaves a void in the lives of many. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Victoria M. Padilla and brother Justin Thompson, whose memory he honored through his kindness and dedication to family.
A viewing for friends and family will be held on January 17, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT. A burial will follow at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT at 11:30 AM.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Jordan, let us remember his spirit through the love he shared with all of us. Though his time with us was far too brief, the impact he made will be felt forever. His memory will be a beacon of love and light, reminding us to cherish each moment with our loved ones, just as he did.
